I really don’t know what to say about myself, aside from “I’m just a guy that likes to ride bicycles”.
Interests off the bike are my two amazing dogs, Olive (min pin mix, 13) and Stanley (retard chihuahua mix, 11), my job at a American Honda working on the SuperCross and MotoCross racing team, and working on some of my own motorcycles at home in my spare time.

Oh, and I love Mexican food. And beer. And tequila.

I come from an action sports back ground, skateboarding, mountain bikes, motorcycles, anything that could entertain my OCD. So it goes without saying, road cycling was a pretty natural transition for me.

I’ve been racing bikes long enough to see guys go from juniors, to pro and retire. That’s usually what I tell people nowadays when they ask. It’s been quite a journey as well.

What keeps me at it? Passing on my knowledge & watching people grow.  To be any part of that is very gratifying.

When I’m not working or out riding with my wife Emily, I’m out spending time with our kiddos, Samuel and Lilah. They’re 8 & 6 and think I’m the coolest Dad in the world (for now), so I’m living that up for as long as I can.

I am a husband of 21 wonderful years to my amazing wife Kelli. Together, we have two children, Mackenzie (16) and Luke (14). On weekends, I enjoy running Kelli. As a family, we also enjoy extended hikes that can take a week or so to complete. Recently, we purchased a motorhome and nowadays you can find us taking it up to the mountains or to the beach for quick getaways. If the adventure includes being outdoors and my family, you can count me in.

The feeling of fitness is also very nice. Some of my favorite races are the local CBR race series.

I really enjoy the feeling of being in a pack of 100 racers knowing that just about anyone could win. If you see me around the races feel free to introduce yourself to me!
